Your Wave Case is made out of a biodegradable material, derived from wheat straw. This is why you will notice small flecks in the design, which makes every single Wave Case unique!

Biodegradable is the term used for materials that break down naturally into smaller and smaller pieces with exposure to microorganisms, heat and oxygen. This results in minimal impact upon our planet.

Most phone cases are made from plastics, which are a group of materials that are not biodegradable. This is why you see plastics polluting our oceans, leaving a lasting and dangerous impact for the environment and wildlife.

At Wave we provide Wave Case, a stylish but biodegradable phone case, to eliminate the need for plastic phone protection. This minor change to your every day can contribute to a reduction in your overall plastic consumption.

Don’t worry, your case isn’t going to biodegrade whilst you’re using it! 

Once you’re done with your Wave Case, you can either dispose of it using industrial composting facilities or post it back to us. If you choose to send it back to us, you will receive a 20% discount on your new case and your old case will be taken care of. Please contact us if you would like to arrange disposal.

Wave Case is a durable, protective case, which helps reduce the risk of damage if you drop your phone and provide protection against general wear and tear.

However, you don’t need to sacrifice protection for sustainability. Our cases are drop tested to (MIL-STD 810) - that’s 26 continuous drops onto a hard surface. 

We cannot claim to be an impact case, however we can vouch from our own personal experience that our phone’s have survived many accidental drops!

Our Wave Cases are best described as smooth but grippy with a likeness to silicone cases (but not as ‘sticky’). Basically, it will slide in and out of your pocket but not in and out of your hands.

Your friend should receive an email from our referral platform. By clicking the link in the email, they’ll be sent through to our website and the discount should appear in a white pop-up box. They can then apply the discount code at the checkout. Once they have completed their order, you’ll be sent your discount link in an email!

We hate unnecessary packaging! We ship all of our orders in 100% plastic free mailers which are made from recycled cardboard. To secure your order and ensure it arrives with you safely, we use paper tape. Our packaging is fully recyclable, to contribute to our aim of having a minimal impact upon the planet.

Our lighter colour cases are prone to picking up dirt and grime more readily - especially from dyed materials such as denim etc. This is due to the nature of the wheat straw material the cases are made of.

We've had some luck cleaning the cases with high alcohol content spray to get rid of stains and dirt.
